Udyami Bihar Government. 1. The online portal for application under Chief Minister Udyami Yojana for the financial year 2025-26 will remain open from 03.00 PM on 25.02.2026 to 05.00 PM on 15.03.2026.
Under this scheme, the government offers ₹10 lakh to start a business. ₹5 lakh is waived. The remaining ₹5 lakh is provided as a loan, which you can repay in 84 easy installments. This scheme is even easier for women, as they have no interest on the loan.
Under the Bihar Entrepreneur Scheme, the government primarily offers two types of schemes: the Chief Minister Entrepreneur Scheme (Large Industries) provides assistance up to ₹10 lakh, including a ₹5 lakh grant (waived) and a ₹5 lakh interest-free loan. The Bihar Laghu Entrepreneur Scheme (Small Businesses) provides a grant of up to ₹2 lakh.
Under this scheme, one lakh youth are provided interest-free and unsecured loans of up to ₹5 lakh each year, along with a 10% subsidy. The objective of this scheme is to encourage educated youth to start their own businesses instead of pursuing jobs.
The Chief Minister's Entrepreneur Scheme (Bihar) covers more than 58 small-scale industries, primarily in the agriculture, manufacturing, and service sectors, and provides financial assistance of up to ₹10 lakh (50% subsidy). Major industries include flour mills, oil mills, spices, bakeries, packaged water, makhana processing, and furniture manufacturing.
